Cartwright Hall Art Gallery

Join us at Cartwright Hall on selected dates in July and August as we partner with our friends at the National Science and Media Museum and tinker with toys! Free drop-in sessions, suitable for families with young people aged 4-11.
Have you ever wondered how toys and games are made? Or wanted to make your own?
Be inspired by inventors of toys and games from days gone by and create your own in our tinkering workshop. We have a range of challenges for you to complete, from making a toy which spins to creating one with moving parts.
