Join us for the launch of DNA Tapestries, a youth-led pop-up mini museum celebrating the creativity, heritage and DNA of Bradford.
Created by Bradford District Museums and Galleries’ Young Ambassadors, the exhibition brings together art, museum objects, archival film, photography, music, writing, craft, history and science. The project has been shaped and co-curated by young people aged 16 to 25 from across West Yorkshire, working alongside a professional freelance artist.
Come along to explore the exhibition, meet members of the current Museum Young Ambassadors cohort and find out more about the ideas and creative processes behind the displays.
Anyone aged 16 to 25 who is interested in becoming a Museum Young Ambassador in 2027 is warmly invited to attend and speak to the current group about their experiences.
Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be provided.

Signposted from Bradford Ring Road and Harrogate Road (A658). Bus 645 from Market Street or Hall Ings. All buses stop at Moorside Road. On the museum site there is free car parking and disabled car parking.
From Bradford City Centre, the 660 bus departs from Drake Street stop D1, (alight at Moorside Road), and the 645 departs from Hall Ings stop H11, (alight at Harrogate Road then an approx 10 min walk).
