Take a journey down the Nile with a trader, finding out about the objects Ancient Egyptians used in their daily lives and the importance of the Nile to travel and trade. End your journey in the Valley of the Kings, learning how the process of mummification was carried out. This hands-on workshop allows pupils to interact with real Ancient Egyptian artefacts whilst finding out more about life at the time.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing works, we currently have limited access to the conservatory area, and some areas of the exterior may be cordoned off.
We can still offered level access via the conservatory, and we have identified alternative spaces for those who require the acccessible parking areas – please contact us for additional information.
At present the conservatory is not available as use for picnic lunches.

Approximately 12-25 minutes walk from the railway station, 6-15 minutes walk from the bus station. Buses (for example Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
