The Cliffe Castle Support Group

The Cliffe Castle Support Group (CCSG) is a small charity made up of supporters who work with Cliffe Castle Museum and Park in the engagement of visitors, particularly those from the local community, by providing free participative, experiential and informative activities.

CCSG’s purpose is to support Cliffe Castle Museum and Park’s events and activities as well as pursuing conservation, heritage and development initiatives of its own.

Some CCSG activities are grant funded, some not, and there is occasional fundraising – the aim is that participation, both by supporters and visitors, in whatever way, is free and enjoyable and adds to their experience of life.  CCSG liaises with local organisations and is active both in maintaining Green Flag status and winning a Bees Needs award.

There are no membership fees – anyone interested can contact CCSG via ccsgteam@gmail.com or Cliffe Castle Museum 01535 618231 or by post C/O Cliffe Castle Museum, Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley, BD20 6LQ to go on the digital mailing list and receive regular activity bulletins and newsletters, or offer to take part in various ways according to their availability and interests.

Or just come along and enjoy what’s on (where space is limited advanced booking is required).  Check out CCSG on social media and see if there’s something you’d like to join in with – you’ll be very welcome.
