Cliffe Castle Museum 

Tuesday 25 July, 11am-3pm

Festival of Archaeology  – come along to Cliffe Castle and have a go at excavating some exciting artefacts in our indoor archaeological dig!

Fairy Festival – Join us for a magical family day with fairies and dragons; bring your picnics, dress up and take part! (Wings and wands are welcome!)

Tinkering with Toys – Free drop-in sessions delivered in partnership with our friends at the National Science and Media Museum, suitable for families with young people aged 4-11.

Mind the Gap presents Birdie – Bring a picnic and enjoy Birdie, a free show that explores climate change in a way that is both fun and poignant. National Literacy Trust book giveaway.

Festival of Archaeology – Come and visit us at Bolling Hall and take part in excavating one of our four portable archaeological digs containing real and replica artefacts going back thousands of years.

Monday 31 July

Hop Skip and Jump! – Come and join the Bradford Museums and Galleries Learning Team for a fun session of Victorian street games and board games and create your very own Victorian inspired game to take home.

Monday 7 August, Monday 21 August

Inspire and Animate – Explore early Victorian animation toys with the Museums and Galleries Learning Team, and have a go at making your own flick book!

This summer, the 50 Things to Do team will be joining us at events across all our museum and gallery sites.
