Join us for a fantastic Yorkshire Day celebration at Bradford Industrial Museum, packed with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, traditional demonstrations and Yorkshire-themed fun across the entire site.
Experience the sights and sounds of Yorkshire heritage with magnificent Shire Horses on display throughout the day, including demonstrations showcasing the strength and skill of these gentle giants.
Meet our roaming Town Crier and step back in time in the museum’s historic Back-to-Back Houses, where visitors can take part in traditional Wash Day activities.
Families can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, including early years sessions, creative clay rose crafts, traditional street games on the cobbled street, and colourful face painting by Fairies Wardrobe.
Browse the ‘Made in Bradford” Makers Market, featuring talented local makers and unique handcrafted products, and learn about local crafts with the “Made by Many Hands” exhibit.
There will be entertainment throughout the day with Yorkshire folk music trio The Flat Caps, and music and traditional dancing from Fiddle ‘n’ Feet.
Don’t miss the chance to see our Blacksmith at work, explore the Mill Manager’s House, and discover more of the museum’s fascinating industrial heritage.
When it’s time for a bite to eat, there will be plenty of delicious refreshments available from Coffee Box UK and Hungry Doll Catering, serving a tempting selection of coffees, hot food, Yorkshire pudding wraps, cakes and sweet treats.
