Stained Glass Workshop at Cliffe Castle Museum

About this event

Cliffe Castle Museum

Join us at Cliffe Castle for a practical session, which introduces beginners to copper foil stained glass making, including the basic techniques of glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering. We’ll be drawing inspiration from the beautiful William Morris stained glass collection at Cliffe Castle, and create your own stained glass suncatcher to take home.
This is a free workshop, but we are limited to 10 spaces so make sure you book your place! To book, visit the reception at Cliffe Castle Museum or call us on 01535 618231.
Please note that due to the technical nature of the workshop, it is not suitable for anyone under the age of 14, and anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Due to the use of leaded solder, it is also not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
