New Programme for Early Years!
Fossils in t’Hills: Paleo Play for Children
Cliffe Castle Museum, Tuesday 24th October, 11am – 3pm
Join us with your child for this exciting Dino adventure! Our youngest visitors will have the opportunity to play a Dino discovery game, see fossils, and do ammonite-moulding. Those who enjoy creative play will find their place dressing up as creatures from the dinosaur world. If you and your child like dinosaurs, this is the perfect treat for you.

’The Rag and Bone Bear’ story by Richard O’ Neil and Michelle Russell
Cartwright Hall, Wednesday, 25th October, 11am – 2 pm
Reading books is a wonderful thing to do with young children, especially if the book is about a teddy bear. Richard O’Neil’s book Rag n’ Bone Bear will inspire children to use their imagination and invent new adventures with their teddy bears. Children will add their patch to the ‘every patch tells the story’ teddy bear. Children, please bring your favourite teddy bear to meet Cartwright Hall’s bears, and let’s play!

Come and get astronomical at Bolling Hall: Discover Baby Space
Bolling Hall, Thursday, 26th October, 11am- 3pm
This event, inspired by astronomer Maggie Adherin Pocock and Bradford ‘s Abraham Sharp, will offer opportunities for all family to learn and have fun getting astronomical. You will find Baby space an area exclusively reserved for younger children. They will have astronomical fun with planets and stars toys, constellation games, and other creative activities. In Bolling Library, there will be organised book readings for the children about the miracles of space.

Spooky Halloween Fun. Creative Halloween activities for families with under 5’s
Bolling Hall, Sunday, October 29th Oct, 11am- 3pm
Spooky event, ghosts, monsters, and bats… It sounds scary, but it is a fantastic opportunity to show your youngest how scary things can easily become fun and playful! For early years at Bolling Hall, there will be spooky storytelling, a ghost trail, creative Halloween creatures and cookie decorating. We are expecting you at this dreadfully fun event. Don’t forget your scary masks!

Bolling Hall is situated on Bowling Hall Road one mile south of Bradford City Centre and is signposted with heritage ‘brown signs’ from A650 Wakefield Road.

From Bradford City Centre, the 635 bus departs from bus stops City Park A on Prince’s Way, Rawson Square H on John Street, and Little Germany Y on Vicar Lane (alight at Bowling Hall Road).
