About this event

10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Bradford Industrial Museum

Lindsay is an illustrator who lives in the Yorkshire Dales, where her family has a rich heritage.
She says ‘As a child, drawing was my safe place, and this theme has been a constant and passionate thread throughout my life. Recently diagnosed neurodivergent, drawing remains that place I go to express and explore my feelings about the world around me, and this includes my mental health’.
As well as producing her own work Lindsay teaches and researches the benefits of creativity on mental health.
‘It’s my hope that taboos continue to be challenged and we can have an open dialogue around the range of different ways our brains function and related characteristic behaviours’.
