Cliffe Castle Museum

Begins at Cliffe Castle, Dome House 6pm for a vibrant performance by Punjabi Roots Academy. The parade will begin at 6:30pm Back by popular demand, Cecil Green Arts are returning to the grounds of Cliffe Castle to bring you a beautiful parade of stars. Led by the amazing Punjabi Roots Academy Dhol Drummers and Bhangra Dancers and featuring an appearance by Q20 events bouncing stars, this parade of stars is guaranteed to light up the night! Everyone is welcome to join the parade. Suitable footwear, clothing and a torch is recommended.
Punjabi Roots Academy are Bradford based and were formed in 2012. They are bringing their LOUD AND PROUD Indian Dhol Drummers and Punjabi Dance showcase to this year’s lantern parade, with brightly coloured traditional outfits. They are a family fun group who love to get everyone of all ages involved. Be ready to enjoy their high energy show!

There is a small amount of free parking on Spring Gardens Lane and within the museum car park. Please note this allows for 3 hours parking, with no return within 2 hours. These parking places are managed by Bradford Council Parking Services.

There are two Blue Badge parking spaces down the slope from the museum car park which are offered on a first come first served basis. The gates to these car park spaces close at 4.30pm”

By public transport

Approximately 12-25 minutes walk from the railway station, 6-15 minutes walk from the bus station. Buses (for example Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
