Bradford District Museums in partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (V&A) is excited to offer an inspiring design-focussed CPD for local teachers.
Taking inspiration from this year’s projects, teachers will take part in hands-on activities led by designer Stefanie Stead (MBE) and the museums Learning team.
You will explore the Transport and Print galleries, gaining practical skills and expertise to take back to the classroom.
Participants will be able to find out about V&A Innovate, a national design challenge for KS3, and take home a range of new V&A teacher resources. You can also find out about taking part in Design Lab Nation next year at Cliffe Castle Museum.
This session will be targeted at KS3/4 Art and Design, D&T and Textile teachers, however all teachers will be welcome. Participants welcome to arrive from 15:45 for refreshments.

The CPD will take place at Bradford Industrial Museum, Moorside Road, Bradford, BD2 3HP. There is a car park onsite and accessible lift and toilet facilities.

By car

Signposted from Bradford Ring Road and Harrogate Road (A658). Bus 645 from Market Street or Hall Ings. All buses stop at Moorside Road. On the museum site there is free car parking and disabled car parking.

By public transport

From Bradford City Centre, the 660 bus departs from Drake Street stop D1, (alight at Moorside Road), and the 645 departs from Hall Ings stop H11, (alight at Harrogate Road then an approx 10 min walk).
