Get ready to squish, shape and create in this fun hands-on clay workshop led by local sculptor and artist Jessica Swift.
Using air-dry clay, children can make their own mini bugs and insects, from beautiful butterflies and spotted ladybirds to brilliant beetles and buzzing bumblebees. They’ll learn simple sculpting techniques and experiment with a range of tools while letting their imaginations run wild.
Once finished, you can take your creations home to dry and decorate using your own paints, pens or craft materials.
Perfect for young artists, nature lovers and curious creators, this relaxed drop-in session is suitable for families and grown-ups are encouraged to join in too.
No experience needed – just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy!
