Christmas Lino Print Workshop at Bradford Industrial Museum

12:00 pm – 3:30 pm

About this event

12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Bradford Industrial Museum

Explore the process of lino printing in this one day workshop and make a set of seasonal greetings cards to take away.
We will experiment with the lino cutting tools, exploring what marks can be made and how positive and negative designs are cut. We will cut a range of designs to make a collaborative festive ‘tapestry’ design, and test how these will look when printed through taking rubbings. You will be introduced to how inking and printing works, using a hand-finishing technique called burnishing. You will then design and cut your own festive image, which you will print to make greetings cards and gift tags. You will leave with a set of between 5 to 10 cards with envelopes and gift tags.
Limited to just 8 spaces.
Book your place on Eventbrite here.
