Bishop Blaise was the patron saint of woolcombers in bradford, and was celebrated every 7 years on the sunday closes to Febraury 3rd, with thousands coming out for parade through bradford in celebration.

Bradford Industrial Museum and Bradford Wooly Heritage co are reviving the festival, with demonstrations, stalls selling wool and textile products, food and drinks, music and entertainment all on site at the museum.

As part of the festival, Join artist Naseem Darbey for a super speedy beginners go at felt making. This is a fun, wet, soapy session using wool to create your own felt picture to take home.

Suitable for ages 5+, children must be supervised by an adult.

There are 3 sessions taking place through the day, each session is limited to 16 participants, and places must be booked.
