Bolling Hall Museum

Join in with the Bowling Beacon leg of events in partnership with the City of Culture 2025. This is a full day tour of the area in and around Bowling onboard the Bradford Stories Bus with a view to signpost the community to their main events at the Beacon venue in Bowling Park in June.

Four key spaces around the Bowling area which families can access, enjoy some time on board the bus and learn more about their upcoming events with BD25. This will be a wonderful and successful day supported by the Councillors, the neighbourhood teams, and community connectors. They will meet and engage people in the community, speaking to them about the literacy trust work, literacy and sharing stories, finally ending with a collective Bowling list poem and with the Beacon event to look forward to.

The Bradford Stories Bus will be in the museum gardens 11am to 1.30pm.

The museum is open on the day 11am to 4pm. FREE entry along with the volunteer run library inside. Be sure to bring your books back, sign up to Bradford Libraries and enjoy the 12th century house and gardens.

Frances Tempest, Lady of the House, will take you on a tour of her home, the museum! (Mrs Tempest is played by visiteer, Sheila Lansdell).

The event is suitable for all the family, children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is free, but donations on a pay as you feel basis are always welcome to cover the costs of volunteer activities.
