Come along to experience living in the 1640’s. Find out how Royalists at Bolling Hall planned to ransack Parliamentarian Bradford. See how they lived, what they ate, how they made their clothes and garrisoned the Hall to keep it safe.
There will be a weapon demonstration and a canon will be fired!
You will learn all about the role Bolling Hall played in the Civil War where the Royalists dwelled and why the Parliamentarians populated Bradford. Find out about the Ghost of Bolling and how she stopped an onslaught happening to the people of Bradford.

Bolling Hall is situated on Bowling Hall Road one mile south of Bradford City Centre and is signposted with heritage ‘brown signs’ from A650 Wakefield Road.
From Bradford City Centre, the 635 bus departs from bus stops City Park A on Prince’s Way, Rawson Square H on John Street, and Little Germany Y on Vicar Lane (alight at Bowling Hall Road).
