Can you tell the difference between an Ash and an Oak? Do you want to expand your knowledge of Bradford’s
trees and share this with others? Join Field Studies Council for their free tree training course.
Field Studies Council are working with Trees for Cities to deliver intergenerational, tree-related activities and
resources for young people in Bradford (12-30) through the ‘Trees for Climate Action’ project.
The training, taking place on 13th May 2023, 11:00 – 17:00 at Cartwright Hall, and downloadable guides will take you on a journey to getting to know your local trees better, including how to
identify, care for, and engage with them, as well as source tree-related voluntary and career opportunities.
These courses and guides are available completely free of charge, thanks to the Trees for Climate Action project,
led by Trees for Cities.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane. There is limited parking in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane).
