Cherry Blossom Festival

Apr 23 2023

11:00 am - 3:00 pm

About The Event

Bolling Hall Museum & Library
15 Bowling Hall Rd, Bradford BD4 7RY

FREE entry, all welcome.

The volunteer Bolling Hall Gardeners will be helping you to plant a summer bulb in your own little blossom decorated pot!
We would like as many members of the community to get involved and children in particular are invited to plant a bulb and take it home.

Donations to cover the cost of the bulbs and pots would be welcome on the day. Pay as you feel.

Blossom-themed face paint by Fairies Wardrobe will be on hand. Make sure you have your photo taken with the Blossom Flower Fairy. If the weather allows, join in the fairy dance!

Make a your hand crafted tissue blossom to take home and join in a flower themed children’s story time in the library.

Make and take your Balloon Blossom with Artefaces.

See the Rainbow Morris Dancers in the gardens and celebrate Spring!

Meet Frances Tempest, Lady of the House, as she takes you on a tour of her home, the museum! (aka visiteer, Sheila Lansdell).

All finished off with samosas, tea and cake in the museum ‘Cold Kitchen’.

Children to be accompanied by an adult.

Just drop in, no need to book.
