Bowling Wassail Tree Celebration: Lantern Decoration, storytelling, outdoor foraging
Join Cecil Green Arts artist and BMG volunteer, Aamta Tul-Waheed, to decorate ready-made lanterns alongside a variety of volunteer run activities including sing-along, storytelling and foraging outdoors with award winning museum gardeners. Held in the Cold Kitchen in the museum and library.
Bring your lantern along to Bowling Wassail, 29 January 2023.
Places are limited. For ages 0-4 years.

Bolling Hall Museum is a warm space. Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soup will be available.
Also on the day – meet Frances Tempest, the 1630s mistress of the house for a tour of the 12th century residence. (played by volunteer Sheila Lansdell).
The Festival is coordinated by Fruit Works Co-operative with Better Place Bradford, BEES, Bradford Museums and Galleries and Cecil Green Arts

Bolling Hall is situated on Bowling Hall Road one mile south of Bradford City Centre and is signposted with heritage ‘brown signs’ from A650 Wakefield Road.

From Bradford City Centre, the 635 bus departs from bus stops City Park A on Prince’s Way, Rawson Square H on John Street, and Little Germany Y on Vicar Lane (alight at Bowling Hall Road).
