Unmistakably Bradford is an annual project with York St John University.
The students were asked to respond to the unique qualities of the City of Bradford in 2025, working from the premise that if the images were viewed in 50 or 100 years, a future historian would be able to identify the specific time and place in the details of the images.
All submissions by the BA Photography students are assessed by a panel of judges at Bradford Industrial Museum for their adherence to the brief and the artistic quality to choose a winner.
The winner’s photograph is accessioned into the BDMG Photo Archive forever!
This year’s winner was Maria Neimantaite
