In this 45 minute heritage craft workshop, Jessica will be teaching participants how to create their own air dry clay bowl, complete with decorations that you can then take home, and once dried, paint and decorate with your own paints!
You will get a chance to try out lots of different mark making tools to make your bowl your own.
Jess has led this workshop in many venues across West Yorkshire, as well as Germany.
Participants will be shown the correct methods of kneading the clay, how to make a bowl and how to create decorations to add to the bowl. This workshop is suitable for all ages with parent supervision.
There will be four sessions running through the day, each lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Places are limited to 8 spaces per session. We recommend reserving a space, please contact Cliffe Castle on 01535 618231 or email cliffe.castle@bradford.gov.uk
PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing works, we currently have limited access to the conservatory area, and some areas of the exterior may be cordoned off.
We can still offered level access via the conservatory, and we have identified alternative spaces for those who require the acccessible parking areas – please contact us for additional information.
At present the conservatory is not available as use for picnic lunches.
