Join us for a day of family friendly activities.

We will be joined from 11.30 – 12.30 by exhibition co-creators, including World Champion Boxer Tasif Khan, calligrapher Razwan Ul-Haq and Daniel Lowe, Curator of Arabic Collections at the British Library who will talk about the making of Fighting to be Heard.

Activities for all including family calligraphy workshop, Mehndi designs, recitals by young people from the Al-Mustafa Centre in Girlington and the chance to try boxing skills with the Tasif Khan Community Boxing Academy

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane. There is limited parking in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane). Cartwright Hall is about ten minutes’ uphill walk from Frizinghall railway station.
