Cliffe Castle’s Eco Day is a fun day of activities and entertainment promoting sustainability and our environment including:

A free, family friendly outdoor performance exploring climate change by Mind The Gap at 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
Photography activity using just the sun and plants!
Seed Giveaways.
Bug encounters.
Pollinator activities. Join CCSG at 11am – 12pm for a Flower Insect Timed FIT Count. Meet at the 1st Glasshouse. And then again 12.30pm – 1.15pm for a Meadow wild flower walk taking a closer look at Cliffe Castle meadows. Meet at the Picnic area.
Riddlesden Green Connection, with Plastic Free Riddlesden and Zero Waste Thelma will also be there demonstrating ideas for sustainable living, with eco-liquids and plastic free products to buy. Bring your empty bottles to refill with washing up, laundry, fabric conditioner, anti bac hand wash, anti bac surface cleaner, shampoo and bodywash. (Glass bottles with trigger spray & toilet cleaner bottles available.) Price list available.
Plus stalls, activities and info from CCSG, River Worth Friends, Trees for Cities, RSPB, Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, Airedale Bee Keepers, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust & More!

Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 4pm
Saturday – Sunday: 11am – 4pm

All Bank Holiday Opening Times: 11:00 – 4:00 except Bolling Hall
All sites closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday

By public transport

Approximately 12-25 minutes walk from the railway station, 6-15 minutes walk from the bus station. Buses (for example Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
