Oakworth Shed’s Graffiti Wall

July 9, 2021

One of the first activities the Oakworth Shed did as a group during the first lockdown was  create an Oakworth Shed patchwork – called the Graffiti Wall

All the shed members were encouraged to write a poem, say what was on their mind, offer some hope to other members.

All their names were embroidered on the different squares, along with quotes from members which were written on some of the squares. Some members were sent squares to sew together.

We’re pleased to able to display their work here at Cliffe Castle to show what the group achieved in Lockdown, while the group get ready to open their doors again in September, at Oakworth Village Hall.
