At Bradford District Museums and Galleries, we believe in the value of learning beyond the classroom for all ages. We offer a range of workshops which can be tailored to humanities, arts, and sciences schemes of learning, and ensure that all of our workshops are informed by the National Curriculum.

Whether it’s Weaving in the Mill, Rocks and Minerals or The Art and Science of Noticing, many of our workshops can me made appropriate for Key Stage Three and beyond.  So come and celebrate Bradford’s special heritage in one of our four sites.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery

From September 2025 to February 2026 the Turner Prize exhibition will be at Cartwright Hall.

This means that we have temporarily paused bookings for our usual core workshop programme at this site until the summer term.

This literacy workshop is based on the legend of the Ghost of Bolling Hall.
