About this event

Cliffe Castle Museum

In this workshops participants will create a modern version of cave art on a 2-metre-long piece of fabric.

You can exploring Ice Age art and creating your interpretation of it. Learn about archival photography techniques, and how we can harness the power of nature to create new art, while developing a modern-day narrative scene, as often found in the art from the Ice Age period.

Accessible for all ages including children as young as 0 – 5 years of age. Each participant can then take their new skills home and practice making a smaller version which you can share with us online.
