After previous successful Young Open exhibitions, the highly aniticipated event is returning to celebrate young artist's work from Bradford. The Young Open provides an opportunity for artists 16 and under to submit their work to an open exhibition in Bradford's civic art gallery, Cartwright Hall.
The theme this year is: Be inspired by Peter Rabbit: Mischief and Mayhem.
Judges included Samantha Yates, stained glass artist and Christine Halsall, Chair of the Friends of Bradford Art Galleries and Museums.
The Friends of Bradford Art Galleries and Museums are proud sponsors of the Young Open 2019. This year they have chosen two of the winning entries to feature on greetings cards and mugs to be published by the Friends and to be sold at various locations around Bradford.
By including Bradford's diverse communities and younger age categories the outcome explores various medium and imagery/design. The Young Open exhibition will appeal to all ages to share the pride of the young people of Bradford.
Free admission. All welcome.
