Bolling Hall Museum are having a weeding morning on Friday 23rd July
We will be meeting at the entrance to Bolling Hall Museum at 10am and plan to finish at 11.30am.
Anyone attending should bring the following: gardening gloves and suitable footwear (e.g. no flip flops) and clothing (ideally long sleeves) required. It would be great if volunteers could also bring any gardening tools (fork/trowel etc) if you have them. We would also recommend bringing drinks/refreshments. Toilet facilities will be available in hall; a mask will be required to enter.
No experience necessary, just enthusiasm and desire to help clear the overgrowth and weeds in the borders of the four main lawned areas on either side of the avenue of cherry trees.
Once you've worked up a thirst, you can pop to The Lodge, Bowling Park Café, which will be open 9am – 4pm.
Please can you let us know if you are able to volunteer and please pass on to others who would be willing to join in and help to make our museum a lovely garden once more.
