Music at the Museum: Anchor Big Band

Cliffe Castle Museum

Sun 1 Dec 2019

Join us at Cliffe Castle Museum for a FREE performance by Anchor Big Band on the 1st December 2019

Anchor Big Band was formed and began rehearsing over 25 years ago. The band was immediately recognised for its high standard of musicianship and enthusiastic playing. The band has a large repertoire of music from which programmes are compiled to suit both listening and dancing audiences. Tunes from famous bands such as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Ted Heath etc. are usually part of the band's programme.

Admission is free and there is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy.

Seating is limited and we do advise arriving early to ensure a seat if you require one.  You can also enjoy the music from the Balcony area of the Bracewell Smith Hall, however that is standing space only

If you would like to perform at one of our Music at the Museum events, please call us on 01535 618231

Donation boxes can be found throughout the museum and your donations are always welcomed and appreciated.
