Share an informal, relaxed and inspiring afternoon with Bradford's own photographer, Nudrat Afza.
Nudrat will give a tour and talk on her current exhibition in the gallery, 'KEHILLAH' including her intriguing photographic projects and bodies of work based around her home town and in particular Manningham, where she lives.
Nudrat is the Muslim woman who photographed Bradford's last synagogue. A single mother who couldn't afford her own camera, she will talk us through the poignant shots capturing the last 45 worshippers in the city's only remaining synagogue.
Nudrat has never had a lesson and doesn't work digitally, not having access the internet.
Tea and cake will be served with thanks to the Friends of Bradford Art Galleries and Museums.
Spaces are limited, please book on [email protected] or t: 01274 431212. £2 booking fee on the day.
