Family drop in activity: Hieroglyph bookmark

Cliffe Castle Museum

Tue 27 Aug 2019

Join our intrepid explorer Enoch Pendergast on 27 August 1-3pm as he enters the realm of the Egyptians.

Explore the wonders in the Egyptian gallery, taking note of all the colours and designs in the array of artefacts that local explorers have brought back to Keighley. You can then travel down to the learning room where you can make your own Egyptian bookmark. You will be given a special piece of Egyptian paper called papyrus and you will be able to write your name or a secret message using Egyptian Hieroglyphs.

This is a free activity.

Donation boxes can be found throughout the museum and your contributions are always welcomed as they will enable us to carry on producing a programme of events for everyone to enjoy.
