Cliffe Castle Museum

1, 2, 3, 4 Museums for Play and Growth” are free drop-in sessions designed for children 0–5 years old. On every fourth Thursday of the month, you can bring your little ones to Cliffe Castle to explore our museum, learn something new, and have a fun time.
The session includes an interactive museum tour tailored for the little ones, a creative play zone to spark imagination, and engaging art activities, offering you and your child up to two hours of quality time spent in the museum. When the session ends, you can stay in Cliffe Castle to see other exciting things that awake your child’s curiosity or continue your play in Cliffe Castle Park.
1, 2, 3, 4 Museums for Play & Growth are also available in our other museums. You can find us

1st Saturday of the month in Bradford Industrial Museum
2nd Friday of the month in Cartwright Hall
3rd Wednesday of the month in Bolling Hall
4th Thursday of the month in Cliffe Castle.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing works, we currently have limited access to the conservatory area, and some areas of the exterior may be cordoned off.

We can still offered level access via the conservatory, and we have identified alternative spaces for those who require the acccessible parking areas – please contact us for additional information.

At present the conservatory is not available as use for picnic lunches.

Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 4pm
Saturday – Sunday: 11am – 4pm

By public transport

Approximately 12-25 minutes walk from the railway station, 6-15 minutes walk from the bus station. Buses (for example Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
