Join us at Cliffe Castle Museum for a FREE music performance, which will take place from 2pm on Sunday 25 March.
The Two Rivers Concert Band is led by Mark O'Farrell, a skilled professional trumpet player whose enthusiastic and encouraging approach is taking the band from strength to strength. There are approximately fifty members in total with their youngest player currently being only fourteen years of age, our eldest being over 70. They are a community band and welcome players of all abilities.
The Concert Band plays a variety of musical styles from orchestral compositions, music from stage and screen as well as original compositions for wind ensemble. New pieces for this year include selections from The Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean and a very dynamic orchestral piece Danzon No. 2.
Admission is free and there is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy.
